Welcome To aBlackWeb

Our Addiction to Convenience will be our collective downfall.

I'm still very old school with a lot of things so I don't think this applies to me or anyone I personally know

I'm old school as shit and I try to rely on my mind as much as possible but there are things I've given over to my phone, like phone numbers. Back in the 90's, I had phone numbers I used frequently committed to memory, and I still remember a few of those. But these days? Nah, if my phone ain't with me, then I don't know the number.

I've been carrying cash more and more since we moved back to MI. Usually got anywhere from $50 to $200 in my wallet at any given time.
Bruh, too. Much shit is online and online goes off way too much.

If all the banks crashed, and they told people they gotta survive on cash for like a month till shit gets back up...the world would collapse right there

So using spell check is ok but if it's AI based it's bad?

Spell check is AI based in general because most of it uses AI to assess what you've written for context so it can guess what word you're trying to spell.

But, even spell check is dumbing us down because you're no longer relying on your brain to remember how to spell even simple ass words.

All that shit is off on my phone and PC's.

Do you think there's someone in the world thats saying the typewriter is more beneficial

Probably.

Maybe it's what drives their creativity forward.

Kinda like how we have folks that prefer making music with hardware as opposed to just software. I did both, now I'm moving back to hardware 'cause I feel my creativity has suffered. And niggas are now starting to use AI to make music so there's that.
