Our Addiction to Convenience will be our collective downfall.

The one between three and three.
One of the homies reposted this on FB earlier today. I happen to agree with pretty much everything ole girl is saying.

We're over-relying on devices and AI to make our lives easier, but at the same time we're losing our ability to function without it.

Is this the cliffnotes?

I don't use any AI in my daily life 🤷‍♂️ though work is looking to delve into it in the near future

Any specific devices? I mean the phone is over relied on but it's also a all in one device

Ehh, I'm not really on board with what she's saying. Knowing how to do some of this stuff turns into a neat little trick, but nobody cares because its less efficient. Like her story about backing in. Nobody feels like waiting for you to go forward and back 5 times... they don't GAF you were looking over your shoulder to do it. Just get in the parking spot... the outcome is more important than the method.

Like when your car is acting up, they plug up that diagnostic tool to find the issue. It's fast and gives the info you need. You really want your car in the shop longer because a mechanic wants to find the issue in a more manual way?

This also can deprive you of what become common knowledge skills, and set you behind. WTF you look like not being comfortable using your phone's GPS but you can use a map? You can't research things online, but you're familiar with the Dewey decimal system?

Naw bruh, you were acting like I was a dinosaur because I still carried cash.... Now here you go... Lying about being old school.

SMH....

You like a real life Brian Griffin
I don't remember this but if you said I did this

I'm sorry brother

I love you
