Wayne is from the projects Magnolia which has high murder rate. He is affiliated to and grew up with Blood gang members

He raps about street subject matter like trappin, being a Blood affiliate, guns, smashin women. How is having swagger and dressing real fly a negative?

She does make a good point. I've been saying it from day one, all that lyrical shit is cool, but it's about the music first. I still think wayne is a better rapper period, but when u add in the artistry it's not even close. Hooks like duffle bag boy, creating the term/hook/hit "bling bling" as a kid. Being a part of maddd hit records as a kid alone, nigga, creating a movement that's still going to this day (YM), nigga, the comparison is disrespectful.

Ik most of the ic/abw is anti wayne so i quit wasting my font on wayne debates, but fuck it.

Can't see her post. Don't care to see it. If that's how you feel though, that's how you feel.

I'm a lyricist at heart, so that's what I'm drawn to. I don't feel like Wayne can touch Lupe in the lyrics department.

Making a club record? Yeah. That's Wayne all day. I'm a fan of just about everything up until NC. After that though? Nah. Can't fuck wit it.
