The premise was interesting because one thing medicine can’t account for is long term side effects.
Other than that, I think the escape and reveal to the world was lackluster. Would have been better if the government ended up using it for their own benefit and silenced the kids. Or if they had a harder time convincing someone of their story or something.
Not a bad movie though, particularly for a M. Knight movie.

It was a clusterfuck imo
It was a brilliant premise to build on but the actual storyline was nothing. They spent the whole movie fumbling around and chasing their tales. It seemed like shit just happened on the island without reason
