I watched this again: The manager said he would go get it for her. In a lot of them fast food spots, once you've been fired, you don't get to go to the back anymore for fear you might steal or destroy property. You stay on the other side of the counter, your best case is they escort you to the back to get your shit. At least that's been my experience in the past and when I've witnessed someone being fired in the last 10 years as a customer.
