In general, people buy pickup trucks to haul and tow, something that an electric truck is extraordinarily shitty at, especially towing 'cause you basically kill it's range when towing.

Then why buy it?

Seriously, other than the "flex" (I guess) of spending crazy bread on an EV truck to be seen in, what would be the point in buying one?
 
Might as well find a older S10/Ranger etc for the same use that one would buy a slate truck for.

You'd be far better off too. 90's S10 or Ranger actually had utilitarian usefulness, especially if you catch one with a V6 under the hood and 4X4.
