Official 2019-2020 NBA Thread

The WNBA will not make Sen. Kelly Loeffler sell her stake of the Atlanta Dream after anti-Black Lives Matter comments in the past weeks, commissioner Cathy Engelbert said Thursday on CNN. “We are not going to force her to sell her ownership,” Engelbert after being pressed about the issue in a segment with CNN’s Poppy Harlow. “She is not a current governor. She is not involved in the day-to-day and we are aware there are interested parties who want to purchase the team.”

She said they are “aware there are interested parties that want to purchase the team” and it’s being worked on. Most importantly, the league is focused on standing by the causes, in this case social and racial justice issues, that matter most to its players, she said. “We believe the WNBA platform. What the players want to focus on — and I know some of them have spoken out — but they want to focus on getting owners in who otherwise are supporting what they stand for. And that’s what we’re working on.”

His body, the lack of lateral movement to be able to switch on d and just rotate, the bad taste in my mouth from thon maker, lack of offensive potential besides being a spot up shooter and rim protector that can’t stay on the floor long. He’s like a skinny boban that can shoot

Smart man!!

All your points are things I worry about when it comes to Bol. Not to mention his injury to his foot. Lower body injuries to big guys historically are recurring things throughout their career. He had a foot injury and was hella thin, him gaining weight can definitely cause more stress on his lower extremities.

Of course we might both end up being wrong and he blossoms into a star player. Lol. The great thing about it is we will get to see. I hope he becomes a good player though.

He’s always gonna be either rail thin or wiry and neither is good when you have to defend opposing big man. I don’t see a team trusting him to do that which means he’s only good to block shots but then when you’re only good for blocking shots that means your mins will be limited

combine that with only being trusted to maybe catch and shoot and you got a guy that’s gonna max out at 15 mins in a season

and for where he’s drafted that will be fine

I just think the expectations ppl have/had won’t be realized at all
