Nah, Lavar is made for NY. The Ball boys just want to hoop. While he has the most potential in this draft, his game right now is very shaky. He does not need that NY pressure right now. I hope he ends up in Detroit or Minnesota. Less pressure and he can take time to iron out the flaws in his game.

Melo seems to me that he wants that pressure. He's the star of the family. He's had good and bad press since high school. He can handle NY.

I want Melo in Golden state. he can learn behinf steph and play for a team with solid culture. If he goes to the Knicks he will fail. Best fits for him are GSW and Detroit who already has a solid front court

He will get to run with RJ, and RJ would shield him from criticism. RJ is gonna get all the blame for the failures in NY for atleast 2 years before the criticism will shift to Melo and whoever they draft in the next two drafts.

Detroit almost not bad enough to get Lamelo but I guess it’s a lotto for a reason

I either see him being drafted by the hawks, wolves , cavs or warriors and you can create a tandem with Lamelo and the starting guard on every team except the warriors where he will assuredly come off the bench. But idk if going to GS is as good as advertised for him but maybe eventually he can start in place of steph if he’s there that long

Hopefully Pop doesn't mess around and plays the young guys a ton to see what he has. It sucks for Lyles and the playoff chances (we weren't getting in anyway) but hopefully Luka Samanic gets plenty of run in these upcoming games.
