Also how is Giannis vs Bron for MVP a thing?

First off, Giannis will finish top 3 for DPOY, and probably should win it. Thats reason #1 that hes MVP.

But past that, Giannis is leading a worse team to a better record. Giannis has more wins against teams above .500, Giannis has more wins against the top 5 teams. Giannis scores more points, gets more rebounds, blocks, and steals. Giannis has had a ton of +30, +15, +5. Giannis has highest PER in history. Not counting these few games that Giannis has been injured in, the Bucks have the highest point differential in history.

Im sure im forgetting a ton of things.

Bron is having a great season, but Giannis is having a historic season.

And like I said, im cool with them giving the MVP to Bron on some life time achievement awar, and call it that but lets stop acting like Giannis isnt having a much better season.
Few things

First off....y'all have your minds made up don't expect to change em now...

.....not saying you're fulla shit you're one of the more objective, level headed, give credit where due posters but

The goal posts always moves when it comes to Bron. First the east is weak, then he leaves and everyone says the east is strong. They're still weak, just better records.

He moves to the west where MOST OF THE STARS STILL ARE and is not only flourishing but is having one of his best seasons and dominating.

Yes he has AD but the plus minus Is still in the negative when Bron sits out and AD leads. We've ONLY RECENTLY seen the team perform satisfactorily when he sat out. So their success this season is based primarily on LeBron's performance AS USUAL.

When u combine points and assists LeBron is responsible for most points in the league.

Middleton isn't top 5 anything but capable of 40-50 point games. Scoring 20 a game and a great defender in brook Lopez. Let's not act like Giannis is alone and Bron has the much better team. Didn't y'all laugh at all the scraps they had to pick up bc guys went to Clips or elsewhere?

Lakers are in tougher conference: 2nd hardest schedule in the league while Bucks have a much easier schedule. So while Bucks have a better record on paper it dont mean the same thing. Context matters always.

Yes the Nets L was nasty but when it came down to Conference Finals matchup and potentially Finals matchup, Bron killed that shit.

@ChicagoFigure why didn't you mention the fact that Giannis is a front runner for DPOY along with what he's doing on the offensive end? I mean when you factor that in, wouldn't Giannis have to be the obvious choice?

I ain’t never seen a muhfucka paid $100 M+ to come in off the pine...

...but keep Hortford‘s ass there. He got 20 and 10, and looks comfortable.

Sure, he is DPOY level but LeBron is a top level defender himself and the defensive captain for the Lakers. In their direct match up, LeBron outdefended Giannis.

Top level meaning? Because Lebron and Giannis are not on the same defensive level. And AD is the Lakers DPOY candidate.

You come in feigning objectivity when you're clearly biased towards Lebron.

LeBron is known to cruise throughout the season but when he's locked in and gives full effort he can lock down anyone. Why ignore how LeBron locked him down in their direct match up and Giannis couldn't guard him? They went head to head defensively and LeBron won it handily.
