Just watched the game and Beverley BULLIED us all game. Dude was 1-7 but was still the player of the game IMO.

Oh and Kawhi is pretty good.

Didn't they say they been trying to trade the nigga since last year. How's he supposed to feel coming out behind a rookie. They not even giving him or themselves a chance to get ahead of the situation.

i loved the game last night (raps/pels duh)

I'm not worried about the rotations after one damn game. I'm concerned about who was on the floor vs who wasnt after one damn game.

What i saw was a defending champion being tested and when they needed to make baskets and stops, they did. The pelicans have a LOT to take away from this game. I saw a team who, for the most part have been playing together for the past what...3 seasons vs a totally retooled team. Chemistry definitely was a deciding factor.

I dont wanna project the season off one game but Siakum (sp?) was a beast. I knew he would impact the game but not like that. Even though the rebounding favored the raptors, the pelicans were right there with them. Didnt see FVF going off, but Leonard gone and you have to help make up that production from other players.

Definitely not Jrue's best game, but he's gonna have nights like that from time to time. Pelicans made 19 3pointers and lost by 6? The difference here was the FT line. Im not gonna get into what should've been fouls and what shouldn't have been, but they gonna need to take it into the teeth of the defense and hope they getting the same calls the other team getting.

All in all, game 1 of 82 is in the bag. Looking forward to Friday.

Hes had one of those weird careers where the numbers dont tell the story.

This is only if he contributes to a ring though. Without that he has 0 chance.
