That's all well and good, but is he even getting any offers to coach................from any NBA team???


Honestly, I'm still disgusted at nobody offering Mark Jackson a job yet.


On top of that, I'm noticing a disturbing pattern in which black coaches build a team up..............get replaced by a white coach right before all their hard work is about to pay off........and then the white coach gets all the credit for the team's success.


Saw it with Tony Dungy back in the day...............then Mark Jackson with Golden State.........and, most recently, Dwayne Casey with Toronto.


Add Lionel Hollins to that list too.


Biggest difference there, though, is that they pulled the trigger too soon on him.


Grizzlies have never been as good as they were when he was coaching.

We really need to stop caping up for Mark Jackson everytime a Coaching job opens up. @#1hiphopjunki3 has done a good job documenting the non basketball baggage this guy carries with him on here.

Even if we stick to basketball, i was not that impressed with the job he did with the Warriors and when the Lakers job was open, i wanted him nowhere near my team.

@AZTG do u want Mark Jackson coaching the Knicks? @Mister B. @O.G. Do u guys want him coaching the Sixers?

Your overall point about black coaches getting fucked is still valid and i wholeheartedly agree with u. I just feel Mark Jackson is the wrong Martyr for that cause.

Leave Mark Jackson where he is. He's not an Xs and Os guy, and he can't improve the offense. He's good for motivation, but that's it.

I'd take Pop, or the assistant coach Udoka. I'd LOVE Jay Wright to coach this team, but no way would he give up his status at Nova to coach in the League.
