I could be completely wrong but I just dont see with him....like what does the best version of RJ Barrett look like?

For me he doesnt create well enough or get enough separation off the dribble,not very efficient, he's terrible in transition, not a great athlete but he is super strong, I dont like his mechanics, not a very good passer(Julius Randle had a higher assist percentage than Barrett)

Again this was rookie year and not a great situation for him so it would be dumb to write him off....but I still have a hard time seeing the path for him becoming this foundational piece

Stop it fam. Hes the best pg on the knicks, thats a given. Hes not a part of any future plans though.

He had some really good game where he did everything well.

I didnt see enough super star qualities, but I did see enough to say he can be an all star in a few years IF developed right.

That IF though is a huge IF cause I cant name a single player over the last 10 years that we actually developed.

He and RJ are the building blocks. They need to establish a culture and an identity imo.

I was joking when I said it but honestly if the knicks put actual offensive players at the other positions, you don’t necessarily NEED a PG like that

but considering the draft it’s dumb to not draft one

I feel 100% the same way about RJ.

I really think Reddish is going to fuck around and be the best NBA player that was on that Duke team..... I know alot of you are going to say or think I'm crazy stating that but I'm afraid Zion is gonna have a career cut short due to injuries.

Of course I hope I'm wrong because it's never good to see these athletes careers get cut short due to injuries but also because he seems like a good guy and New Orleans has a good fan base and deserves some good fortune
