Not when the West got teams with better all pros. Curry is on par but draymond is weak when compared to the #2 of the good teams in the west.

Curry and dray arent better than kawhi and pg, bron and AD, harden and westbrook, jokic and murray, mccolum and dame, shit even KP and Doncic.

Dray is the weak link. All those combos have legit #2s, Dray is your 4th best player forced to be your #2 this season.

Not shitting on Dray either, hes a great player, just not a legit #2 when compared to what other teams in the West got.

They should carry them to the 6-8 seed in a stacked west. I don’t think you could reasonably ask more of them this year.

Swap Say Kawhi with Steph on this team and it would be just as ugly or uglier.

People neglect the depth of a team when evaluating their potential. This team’s depth was questionable last year - they had All Timers so it didn’t matter.

Now their depth is completely gutted and one of those HOFs left. Different story

But they still have Russell too. And Curry is an MVP. a multiple time MVP suppose to carry the team to the playoffs at minimal

Word but Russel is a new addition and we have to see if he is gonna be a good fit.

Im not making any predictions but I still see gsw sneaking in. It depends how much load management they do with Curry

I swear people act like Draymond is Anthony Davis.

The guy can’t even score ... he is a great complimentary player. But a legit #1 or #2 he is not.

Short answer, no

Dray is an auxiliary player he ain't never been that guy y'all make him out to be since GS had been winning.

I think you're underestimating how good a team has to be overall to compete.

Thor logic: AD, a top 5 player, had Jrue who had been an All Star and made all defense multiple times, and Rondo a champion and multiple all Star, was that not enough to be top 4 in the West? See how crazy that sounds?

But with that being said I still have them getting in until proven otherwise. They’ll beat teams similar or worse than them and pull off the occasional upset or two.

Why are yall saying that Dray is the #2 on the Dubs when D'Angelo Russell is clearly gonna be their second leading scorer? Dray as a #3 ain't too shabby. They still might struggle to get in the 'offs but I ain't ready to start all the humble talk. Their lack of depth is gonna be their downfall.

Bruh I layed out exactly why Golden State is going to be terrible several times this offseason

Steph, Draymond, WCS, Looney, Russelll......those are the only NBA caliber players on their roster(and 3 of them are centers/bigs)

Glenn Robinson lll couldnt even break the rotation for Detroit last season and they desperately need some one for the role hes supposed to play

People can say what they want about Harden but he's built to carry teams solo in the regular season(Steph isnt).....hes physically built to do it and his style of play with constantly attacking the defense and getting to the rim which Steph doesnt do

What made Draymond say great defensively is the switching scheme and the personnel to do that(Warriors cant do that now).....Hes not Rudy Gobert where it doesnt matter what else is you have around him and you can just force everything into the paint

They literally have nobody to defend on the perimeter

Unless you trolling I dont know how you can think Golden State is going to be a good team
