That's how my demeanor is at work. I keep it at work because I work with nothing but white people. They often play too much & I'm not with that playful sh**. Outside of work, I'm the opposite. cool, laid back nigga with humor
 
I have locs down to almost my knees. People are always looking and staring when my hair is out. Except in Brooklyn because it is common. Most people are surprised when it is work related. They just don’t expect someone with locs to walk into the office. I am sure I have lost one or two potential clients based on my hair. If a woman like locs they usually acknoledge me. If they have not seen them that long they usually just stare. Some people ask to take pictures or can I touch your hair but that usually happens when I am traveling or some tourist in the city. I have had women tell me they couldn’t date me because of my locs and I have had women only wanting to date me because of them.

I always get that because I'm not one to talk much when first meeting people. I observe and listen first and then I choose who I want to associate with based on what I've learned. Then I always get, damn I thought you were so mean when I first saw you but you're mad cool.

I'm not a talkative person no mo, I am gettin up in age were I just don't wanna be bothered. I just move in silence now
