How do people perceive you? When you walk into a room what do they think of you? When you are doing everyday activities, do they stare? Do people ask you if you're in the right place?

Ladies if you wanna drop examples of a everyday attire, be my guest.

Oh my bad... I forgot to start it myself. Well when I'm out and about do my everyday thing people always assume I'm in the wrong neighborhood or environment. Shit I've been told I looked menacing and threatening. Even when I wear a suit and tie, I still get the random "I thought you were a thug" comment

people always think i'm high and don't give a fuck. the latter is true, the former isn't, i've only tried weed 3 or 4 times and not since 09.

edit: this is more about my personality/body language than my look i suppose, cause i usually try to dress nicer than most people at my job.

People always think I either smoke or sell weed.. prolly cuz I have dreads... I haven't smoked in years.. foh nigga iono where the weed at goddamn!

Some people base personality off of appearance too

I look very intimidating. Not in a racial scaring white people way, but just intimidating because people think I look angry and pissed off. Thats one reason why no one talks to me unless I talk to them first.

Shit is the furthest thing from the truth. Im the nicest, friendliest person around.

It's funny cause the shortest and smallest person is always the first to approach and converse with me

I don't know what it is, but everybody wants to have small talk with me. From the hillbilliest to the most thugged out. I don't think there's a stereotype that hasn't initiated small talk with me unprovoked.

My wife calls it my glow, like people are attracted to something about me.

Only when I'm at school does this happen. It just irks me when they bring up stereotypical stuff cause of my locks

I think ppl are quick to get a feel of my personality. Just easy going, here to do what i need to, give a lil small talk and im out.

Im a friendly person but sometimes ppl think i look mean or angry which i dont get. One chick told me i look like the whole world fell on top of me i joked back with her but thought damn thats my regular face

real shit
..
most people think I'm a broke bummy, push over and confused looking nigga who is about to cry.

I always had very watery eyes.

but my appearance is the very opposite of what I am.
I am all very aware of my surroundings and very calculated. and I don't allow clothes to make me. least important thing to me. if a person can judge me by what I wear... well they can keep it moving.

Most often fear, especially from white people.

The bones where my sinuses are, pronounced right above my eye brows so it looks like I'm scowling at all times lol, it's hard to see in photos but in IRL people complain about it all the time.

It's mad annoying

Funny thing is, I do not find these interactions particularly fulfilling, but I'm super considerate of others so I tolerate it even when I don't feel like it.
