A bailout isnt socialism. And there's no such thing as a perfect environment, the economy will have good and bad moments. Just as how in a year you will have good and bad days. Even in a socialist or communist system economic calamity is inevitable. You are going to have periods of prosperity and periods where things go wrong.

Would you consider unemployment programs to be socialist style programs? If so you have to consider bailouts to be corporate style socialism because it's essentially the same thing. You're right, economies have ups and downs, but in a purely capitalist system, businesses are supposed to live and die on their own merits. The government saving companies is not capitalism.
