That's the thing. They be letting refunds go without fact checking deductions. Mess around and get audited later and can't provide substantial claims, you getting hit wit all types of fees if you end up having a balance due. IRS will lock you and your bank acct up.

Nothing... Just low cost of living, but ridiculously high taxes, not a lot of great career opportunities, terrible wages, climbing crime rate, no main attractions besides historical Civil Rights movements and grounds, the longstanding celebatory and praising of Confederate monuments, amongst other things.


It's just not a very economical place in comparison to most states.

They'll offset if you owe any state agencies too. But true, most times. they'll leave you alone if you're paying on time and you ain't deep thousands in the hole. I've seen people ignore bills until they get that Notice of Seizure. They really think ignoring unpaid taxes is a joke.

Went to Orange Beach last memorial day

Maybe Alabama didn't get the memo. It wasn't super packed or anything. The restaurants were mad cheap too.

I couldn't live there for sure but I wouldn't mind visiting
