Nah. I get what you're saying.

I just dont think it applies in this particular situation because the individual is a convicted child molester....

That and there are too many stories on the other side of that spectrum that refute what you are alluding to.
Snowball effect tho..like u were saying about the jews and blacks in NY

Never seen a positive news article about black Israelites tho.

Meanwhile Bruce Jenner killed someone and injured two others and a baby...transitioned into Caitlyn Jenner and the prosecution decided to not file charges for the death.

Been celebrated ever since.

I don't see the correlation. Sorry.

I guess the places I frequent and the people that I speak to. I see more instances of unprovoked angry towards that community that leads me to being mindful of it. I have some homosexual relatives and a few friends that I've witnessed it enough to see a parallel.

I know a gay woman that every time she wasnt around, the same people that smile in her face, refer to her as "that dike bitch" or other disparaging remarks about her sexuality. That I can akin to whites smiling in the faces of blacks and its disparaging remarks based purely on the person's race and not character.

But like I said, I'm very alturistic...so, ya mean.

I feel like some free flowing individuals can be influenced into experiencing the gay lifestyle, and some individuals flat out are just born gay. When you read stories of people committing suicide because they couldnt deal with being gay. It leads me to believe that for those people it's not a choice.

:ualreadyknow: ion know

Nobody should be harassing or mistreating people in the LGBTQXYZ123 community. The people that feel the need to do that are ridiculous. You don't fuck with them (figuratively or literally)? That's fine. Just keep it moving. Let them live their lives and you live yours.

That said, I don't see how people can deny that there is a bit of a gay agenda and it can be influential. When you put effort into trying to normalize that kinda stuff, you're probably going to have some success in that, and it doesn't just mean that people will be more accepting of being gay. It also means that more people will see doing gay shit as acceptable. Whether that's good, bad, or neither is a matter of perspective, but it's ridiculous when people act like that doesn't happen.

True, like I said tho, I always see a parallel. Like there is a active agenda to our benefit right now to have more diversity in film. With black actors playing roles of characters that historically in the story have been white.

Theres agendas everywhere for inclusion and against inclusion. Representation matters tho, I for one can attest to that. I grew up in the hood where I'm from, there was really only one way to be to feel inclusion and not ostracised.

I didnt find fulfillment in a lot of activities around my environment but there werent that much representation outside of those activities where I was from.

So I like that artist kids get shine now..before you were a hustler or a ball player..or rapper..really

I see what you're saying, but it is a little different. Like there was a time when they didn't put many black characters in shows. So, they started casting tokens to appease black audiences. Nothing about the story really changed. There was no added messaging or attempt at getting you to believe something in particular about blacks. They just included a black or asian or a hispanic. With gays, it's not just about putting a gay character into a show. If that's all it was, it would be fine. The problem is they almost always make a point of exposing the gay lifestyle to normalize it. Even that is fine if it's somehow relevant to the story. My problem is when you have a story that's not about relationships, sex, or anything else that pertains to sexual preference, yet they still shoehorn that in from the gay standpoint.

I think a good example would be that last Star Trek movie. They made Sulu gay. Alright, that's fine I guess. He wasn't gay in the series, but the actor that played him is gay, so whatever, art imitating life. The problem is his character wound up being boiled down to nothing but being the gay guy. I swear his only scenes in that movie were with him being with his husband, talking about his husband, looking at a picture of his husband and child, or something else related to him being a gay man. That's not what the story is about. No other character got that kinda of attention put on their personal lives other than characters who had relationships with other characters in the story. (e.g., Spock and Uhura). It came off as something done 100% so they could say "Hey look, we have a gay character. Gays are cool."

Damn this some wild shit if true

That's fucked up, but the whole "they only talk to the white media" stuff is disingenuous. They aren't talking to those media outlets because they are white owned. They are talking to them because they have like 100 million subscribers and can give artists the best exposure. I think its fucked up that those artists snub the black people that are trying to get ahead, but they gotta stop acting like the race of ownership is the only difference between People and random black magazine #67.
