Yes ABW is a microcosm of black life in general

Everybody who talks Pro black already knows the audience doesn't want to hear that shit, just like Menace to Society showed you 30 something years ago. We still just do it for the record, because it still needs to be said/heard/read

That's why there's a group called The Five Percenters cuz only 5% of black people are woke or give a fuck

And it seems like no matter how many George Floyd protests or Alabama brawls that show what we can do when we stick together, most of us just go right back to the plantation

I'm on the other side of this discussion

I would like to believe that we all want the same things. The path that gets us there seems to be where we spend all of our time which doesn't leave much for action on the items that gets us to that point

I think an overwhelming segment of black people continue to subscribe to white talking points with the main one being classism. Getting black people to do their work for them. As long as we don't view each other the same, we can't band together for the same cause.

Us not viewing each other the same didn't start with us tho. My ilk is starting to follow suit. We're finally following the lead of everyone else as far as not sticking together
