We can also confirm PWInsider’s report that Page was at the WWE Performance Center last week, and was undergoing his signing physical with the promotion. NXT officials have had interest in bringing Page in since he left AEW. Shawn Michaels stood in for Page in rehearsals, with Booker T being listed on rundowns in Page’s place. Shinsuke Nakamura’s theme was played during rehearsals in place of Page’s attack. We’re also told that Vic Joseph’s near mention of AEW was scripted.
