NBC - Saturday Night Live (Season 51)

Added to Calendar: 10-04-25

Yeah Keenan got consistent work from this. I think he just prefers sketch comedy as well versus doing a movie or something

Are you going to see a Keenan led movie? lol

I respect what he’s doing though. He knows his lane and sticking to it. Even so, most of his original characters are too similar and his impressions are terrible. He does have his moments though.

He tried his hand at it that Keenan show trying to possibly have a foot out the door but that sucked. This his bread and butter and he knows that. He ain’t going anywhere any time soon.

Id look out for a fat Albert sequel

Rumor is SNL is looking into hiring Kam Patterson the comedian made popular by kill tony podcast. Pretty decent young comedian. Don't know how he'd do acting but I know hes got a few movie roles coming out

I dunno if he is or isn't, but dudes been crazy successful. He's been headlining his own tour for awhile now. People say his kill tony appearances have been really lackluster recently and I agree, but I think he just keeps his really good material for his shows. Of course hes only given one minute for KT so that adds a lot of difficulty for anybody to make a hard hitting minute, but his stand up show in long form has been really hilarious. He doesn't even have a full special to his name yet and hes been filming movies with Kevin hart and someone else recently.

It's a good look that hes on SNL, but I just dont see how theyre going to be able to utilize him very well. He's hilarious when he can just be him and riff. He's definitely not network tv friendly when he does that though. Even though hes new, I hope hes not one of those actors we rarely get to see in sketches.

Goddamn its going to be a whole new cast soon and I didnt even get the chance to learn the newer folks from a couple years ago.

I just hope Michael Che and Colin Jost stay on as long as possible. The bit they do where they write jokes for the other person is absolute gold. They got a pretty good chemistry too.
