That’s my hope with the nba with NBC and Amazon for next season. It’s already begun with Amazon

Another example of it is the other week when Charles Barkley “went in” on JJ Reddick, when Ernie was asking Chuck, was JJ going in on you or was that just him making a general statement, he ignored it. You know that whole rant when he says if you come for the king, you best not miss? There is too much negativity around the sport when they act as if the average person, isn’t an idiot. So if you say the game sucks then what you think they gonna say to sound smart?

ESPN has tried that and these young dudes are all caught up in analytic crap. The talk about sports like it's a videogame
 
the best thing for the NBA to do is first let teams have their own identity
analytics have fuck'd up the game by trying to make every player a three point shooter
hockey and baseball don't have a face of the league the NBA needs to stop doing this

That's cause the narrative is dumb as fuck. There's nobody out there that watches the game and loves it but decides not to watch because Chuck bashes it. Mofos trying to blame everything but the players and the style of play. There are a lot of people who like the modern style of play and the personalities of the players. There are a lot of people who don't. That's really what it comes down to.
