Btw @DMorgan since you still reading newspapers while listening to walkmans on the subway, wizards picked Thomas Bryant off waivers and are looking to sign Jeff green since Mike Scott left

I do read newspapers but I got a smartphone nigga and listen to podcast while on the subway, have to admit I listen to Sportstalk 980 and 106.7 in my car though. So I'm not totally behind the times LLS

Damn I knew it was bad but looking to sign Jeff Green is like a junkie right before they hit rock bottom.

Over the last few days. ive learn only lebron is entitled to do wants to do (just kidding i knew this)

I learned by watching the NFL players fucking suffer making the lowest wages but play the most physical sport that players should do what the fuck they want. Good on Boogie cause he will get that ring. Good on Rondo cause he got that check.

If AD wants to play for Real Madrid in the Spanish league? Do you. Will I be happy, Hell no but................................Spain is beautiful though.

Read somewhere that Bron told Magic he wants Lonzo on the team. Smart move considering if Lonzo ever hits his potential, he can carry Bron in 3 years when Bron is really slowing down.

With that though, im sure if a really good deal is on the table they'll still trade Lonzo.

Also, they are staying if healthy, Lonzo will most likely be the starting point guard but Rondo was told that the best player in training camp gets to start and its an open competition.

Boogie is lying

He is allowed to go wherever he wanted to, but he's creating a narrative that's not true.

You got proof?

Even so, the Pelicans still had something like $13.7 million to spend before bumping into the luxury tax. They could have outbid the Warriors paltry $5.3 million deal -- the mini-midlevel exception for tax teams.

They didn't. The Pelicans had a tentative meeting scheduled with Cousins in the coming days, per sources close to the situation. That will obviously not happen. Perhaps they had decided they simply did not want Cousins coming off an Achilles tendon tear, having seen what the stretchy and fast Mirotic-Davis combo could do without him. The fact pattern suggests a limited interest, at best.

Who was offering cousins anything? Pelicans aint want him back

niggas turning into ring chasers.

niggas just cant build they own shit.

whats the point of power if you still want to benefit off someone elses work?

Pelicans fans, what are yall realistic expectations now that boogie and rondo are gone?

Think yall gonna make the playoffs?

AD is gonna be playing center primarily now and Randle is gonna be a good 4 next to him but idk if thats enough.

AD is good enough to carry them to a 5-8 seed imo but hes gonna have to play at an MVP level for 82 games and playing that hard every game has me worried about injury.

Long as he play 75 games, I think yall can still make the playoffs.

It's messed up that Boogie and Spears are spewing this lie to save face, and in return is making the Pelicans look bad and like idots or the bad guy.

Marc Spears was the one that did Boogie rehab story to help his "friend " with leverage and to change his perception around the League that he was healthy and ready to be asset for Max money. So it's not a surprise when this story comes out of him signing to the Warriors, perception is that Boogie took this road "only" because he had no offers is bullshit.

The reality is that the Pelicans offered him a contract where he lost leverage and he threw a hissy fit, so he went to the Lakers and they offered him a contract that he was not happy with. So to spite the league he takes a MLE deal to sign with Warriors. Now ESPN, and major news outlets will fall for this shit. Shit is wild AF man.

pelicans had the most money to offer him, he didnt want that

its ok if he didnt, but to say they werent trying to retain him, i dont buy that for one sec

Boogie's issue was he had no leverage entering FA and wanted to get paid like he did

The pelicans had his bird rights and could've went over. Gayle Benson said she would do what it took to build a team here.

But at the end of the day, we are talking about business decisions b/t billionaires and millionaires and quite frankly, im just not that invested to point out who is being honest and who isnt

Boogie made the best decision for him...good for him

I'ma still watch

Lonzo carry bron.. he cant even carry himself he is a baby he is non aggressive until he just lets go and just put his foot down and play hell never be the player he has the potential to be.

i can agree with this

I think Mirotic starts next to AD, then they stagger AD, Mirotic, Randle and Cheik (who is the wild card). I still think Ajinca gets moved and they bring another rotating big b/c i dont think Okafor is kept.

They still have some trade exemption money they can use to help grab someone, but i dont think its doom and gloom like a lot of people are putting out there. I think Randle will give them something different from boogie if the goal is to play at the pace that swept Portland in the first round.

A lot of people clowned them for signing rondo last year in the first place and he played his way into a nice deal for him at this point in his career. Im super high on what Peyton can bring if they unlock him. He lacks the IQ Rondo does, but so do a lot of other guards. Still dont know what Frank Jackson is gonna end up being but they are still high on him to be a guard off the bench.

I think there are at least 2 more moves to be made with one bringing in a starting SF. IDK who that player is, but I like Miller coming off the bench and Hill in spurts.

nigga too friendly.

why work 100% when 25% will still get you a ring

Bruh you have no idea what you talking bout.

If you coming off a potential career altering injury, an injury that got people so worried that you go from a clear 5 year max contract to barely getting 5 mil a year, what other place is better to go to than a team that will make it the easiest for you to score and look good and get you a big bag next year?

lies no lies.. he did what he wanted to.. yall desperately want to make sports talk mediatakeout shit..

I agree but anyone carrying Lebron is atleast 3 years away barring a huge injury. In 3 years either Lonzo hits his potential and becomes that guy or it gets accepted that he will never be that guy.

Not talking bout now cause as of now Lonzo cant carry Brons bags for him.
