For the record. He did turn down an invitation to Hanlen's camp. Who's to say Simmons got someone better to work with. I just think the chance to join Embiid and Fultz in summer camp, getting better and bonding would be a no brainer .

Blake was balling for a while after his rookie year.

I know that, but after his rookie year he was talked about as eventually being one of those DUDES at the PF position in his prime. KG, Tim, Dirk, Karl, Chuck , how AD is now. The hype was crazy when he dropped 22 12 4 as a rook.

All the talking points was he’s this good already without the jumper and w/o a refined skill set. Then he just plateaued pretty much at the same level although his jumper did get better.
