I would take Melo coming off the bench and wouldn't think twice about it. If that crackhead Corey Brewer can get playing time in Philly, I know Melo can be just as productive.

I actually think Philly is one of the places that hes a good fit for.
Not as the 6th man, but more like the 8th man. I can see him playing with the starters for stretches when Ben is on the bench. Melo can get buckets with Embiid drawing most of the post defense towards himself and Tobias on the premiter with another shooter or two is not bad for stretches.

I also think Philly has enough defense to cover for Melo. It wouldn't hurt my feelings if he even took the last shot a few games if he signed. Who else gonna take it? The teams lack of a consistent closer might come back to bite them in the ass. I just can't see Tobias being that dude.

I dont like the idea of Melo being yall closer but you right about Tobias not being that guy.
I can see a game or two where he might take some big shots at the end of a game when he has the hot hand though.
Everyone keeps saying Melo to the Lakers or Clippers but I dont see any fit on either team.
Imo the Sixers, Blazers, Heat, Nuggets, the Jazz and a few others will be way better fits for him as the 8th/9th guy.
Question why isn’t Melo a starter anymore? I keep seeing people saying he has to come off the bench. At this point if he gets a job that’s probably what he’ll have to do, but what makes him not starter material anymore?

I can understand age. But there are plenty of non defense playing niggas starting and Melo is a better scorer than some of them.

The Nets are a team that I think Melo could be a good fit for too. Off the bench mostly but starting in spots too.
Only issue with Melo on yall team is pace. The Nets want to play faster but Melo wont be able to keep up.
I wish. But the signing of Wilson Chandler negates that. If there’s an injury to a front court player then we should seriously consider it.
