Not as bad as it seems. Teams need to spend up to 90% of the cap, so the Knicks need to get to like 95 mil in salary. The best free agent next year is Draymond Green, so they giving 2 year deals out so they can have space in 2021.

Plus the players they are bringing in are all servicable vets for a team full of kids.
