Again, everything is a crap shoot. A "better" class might yield a slightly better prospect than Queen. We do not know. Kids could reclassify/drop out, a overseas kid might unexpectedly jump.

I there are a lot of die hard fans that will be there no matter what and didn't give a shit about the tax lines or asset management

The pelicans not winning shit anyway no time soon

My only criticism is Dumars trying to tear it down to the studs without doing an inspection of what's actually wrong with the property. He probably could've made a better trade on day 2. Pelicans didn't do shit with the AD picks so why should I think they are going to manage an unknown 2026 pick even with a new regime

My fault lil brother. I'm a lil aggy this morning reading work emails and my staff is pissing me off.

Basically, I'm hearing the same talking points I heard from Griff which was refreshing at the time compared to all the cryptic shit we were getting from Demps. All Dumars keeps saying is, we're going to play hard... Well I hope tf so. He hasn't laid out a clear vision for exactly what kind of team he is trying to construct.

The Queen pick is a favor to someone, mainly Weaver. I going know much about him but I know he was a Weaver guy. The roster as it's currently constructed is a hot mess. So you don't go into a fixer upper just tearing shit down without an idea of what you're going to replace it with. You plan it out, then you start rebuilding.

And my thing is, if you were already at 13 and got him, cool.. But you jumped 10 spots for no reason that made sense

All those guys outside of Essengue could’ve been picked later than they were.

Im not the biggest fan of Essengue, but I can understand why some teams would like him. The Bulls I thought could’ve used a different type of player, but I guess they are hoping he and Matas will mesh.
