COMMUNITY NBA All Star Weekend 2025

Added to Calendar: 02-14-25, 02-15-25, 02-16-25

im curious as to how long all star weekend can remain a traveling yearly attraction... the banter at least suggests its losing it's luster

lol Adam silver told them to play hard last year and then dame and mostly Tatum proceeded to give out the absolute worst performance of all time imo

Telling them to play hard doesnt mean shit lol

From a players POV this format is gonna get you somewhere from about 3 to 6 shot attempts per game. I personally would check out mentally.

They played more defense last night in the first 2 mini games (outside the championship game) than they did the past 3 games combined

We keep forgetting that the old allstar games had no defense until the final 4 mins maybe

Team Chuck the first game shot 78% ftom two and 62% from three.

My post wasn't about defense. It has more to do with how good the players are to limit them to such a small score, which will lead to limited shot attempts which cheats the fans out of the viewing experience that they tuned in for in the first place.

Yeah that’s why I said earlier than the format works but there needs to be tweaks

The target score would be one of the tweaks

Should be 60
 
Like if you take out Kevin hart, Mr beast, and the TNT glazing that’s about 25 more mins of basketball

So someone can still see it working potentially

There’s a Skelton of something here if I was to think non traditionally

OR you just have a regular allstar game but there’s a target score of 120
 
Ok i didnt watch the All Star Game(s) last night and im 20 pages behind in here...

But what im gathering from social media today is....

  • Kevin Hart pissed off the players
  • TNT crew were full of themselves and made it more about them then the game/AllStars
  • Oscar Robertson and Draymond Green got beef now lol
 
Too many commercials

Dj cassidy is the diet come of energy
Target score was top low

They killed the momentum/flow of the game
 
All u gotta do is give them an incentive to ball out

Since niggas hating on my 1 v 1 dreams

Maybe make it where it’s East vs West but winner gets home court in the finals or some shit
