it's a lot of great leapers who participated in the contest that don't have the creativity, which equals out to a dud of a performance. in game dunking is totally different than contest dunking.

People literally repeat verbatim inaccurate information about these teams and players they heard from the media talking heads they like and or respect. So, why wouldn't they believe in the media talking heads hyping up actual great unknown dunkers?
