The Pressure - 3/5. It’s aight. Kinda disappointing given the name of the song and comparing it to other Nas’ intros, probably his weakest intro ever IMO.
Death Row East - 2/5. Another disappointment given the title of the song. Was expecting way more. Weak beat, weak storytelling.
40 Side - 1/5. Nah bruh. Was expecting a “QB Politics” type track. Skip
EPMD 2 - 1/5. Respectfully this is ASS.
Rare - 4/5. First half of this song is flames. The beat, flow, lyrics are perfect. This is NAS. Honestly this should’ve been the intro. The second half, idk man. Gotta load up Cool Edit to cut that shit out.
YKTV - 1/5. No man. Wtf Nas. Was better off putting the new version of Life is Like a Dice Game on here than this bullshit.
Store Run - 5/5. GOAT music. This is not even bragging!
Moments - 5/5. Beautiful
Nobody - 5/5. We cooking now. Lauryn slaughtered this.
No Phony Love - 2/5. Meh. All the female tracks on KD1 is better than this and so is Car #85.
Brunch on Sundays - 2/5. Another dud. Nas executed this vibe better with Bonjour off Nasir.
Count Me In - 3.5/5. Cool beat. Cool rhymes.
Composure - 3/5. Hit boy rhymes???. I like Nas verse on here tho.
My Bible - 3/5. aint this the Lost Freestyle beat off Lost Tapes 2??? Sounds like this was a rough draft to 10 points off KD1
Nas Is Good - 4/5. This made me smile. Not The Cure but dope.
Overall 3/5. Honestly, this album wasn’t needed. Nas could’ve released a Deluxe version of KD1 with the first half of Rare, Store Run, Moments, Nobody and Nas is Good as new bonus tracks.
My opinion might change. Nas still the Goat. Whip test in the morning.
