My top 20 Quintessential Tupac songs

2. Brenda's Got A baby

This song has such a powerful message that is still relevant to this day.
He covered incest, molestation, teen pregnancy, prostitution, and murder.

“Just because you’re from the ghetto doesn’t mean you can’t grow.”

Before i drop number here are the Honorable mentions

I didn't want to have too many songs from All Eyez on Me

This was originally in the top ten but after careful consideration I had to remove it.

Hennessay

This was originally number 19

Troublesome 96

Originally number 20

2 Of Amerikaz Most Wanted

Once again I didn't want to include too many songs from All Eyex of me on the list. This one hurt to exclude.

Lord Knows

Here is the OG version with no editing out of the cursing and slightly different style... I believe on 'Greatest Hits' and the video they had to make do with the radio version as they didnt have access to Pac's masters...

Notice at the start he says 'Ima still muhh'fckn love you', I used to hate what sounds like skipping from that edit and for yeeeears I always wondered what he said lol you also got 'a life where we dont need no welfare and share with our whole family' (who ever edited the cursing must have thought 'share with our whole family' had a curse in it???) and at the end of the first verse Pac says 'she still love me'...

Also here is an alternate version of the video, not alot of difference to the normal version but still dope to see...
