Armstrong is writing the untitled movie for HBO Films based on an original idea. He is executive producing it with Frank Rich. The duo, both under overall deals at HBO, also executive produced together Succession.
Details are scarce but the film is said to revolve around four friends who meet up during the turmoil of an ongoing international financial crisis.
Armstrong is still writing the script but the movie is being fast-tracked, with cast availabilities being checked for a production start later this year.
Eh. The acting was pretty good. And I get the satire part, but I think it was a bit too heavy handed on the satire. To the point it made it kind of ridiculous. The movie makes its point in the first 30 minutes then everything after that was just overkill.
