Wouldn't say he's influential musically but who he represented that influence can't be denied.Fake gang banging became a thing, look at Wayne, CB, etc.
Gucci as well but he not on this list. You mean Wayne & Gucci
I don’t recall Pac ever claiming a set in any shape, form, or fashion.Fake gang banging became a thing, look at Wayne, CB, etc.
Maybe I'm tripping. But I have NO idea why niggas are voting for Pac.
What set was he claiming? Can ANYBODY quote Pac claiming a set?You tripping and wasn't listening to rap in the mid 90s to early 00s.
Wasn't it a known fact he was claiming blood during the last year or 2 of his life or a hard affiliation.I don’t recall Pac ever claiming a set in any shape, form, or fashion.
Yeah I definitely have 3 6 Mafia in my four. When I consider the poll, I'm thinking what most rappers have sounded like over the last 20 years or so.36 Mafia pretty much birthed the sound of the past 10 years. The sound, beats, and the million samples used in hits on the radio. Memphis boys came a long way.
Obviously the old ones like Pac.
Nah u can hear a lot of Em influence in the more lyrical artists today at least in their earlier works I don't keep up as much.Yeah I definitely have 3 6 Mafia in my four. When I consider the poll, I'm thinking what most rappers have sounded like over the last 20 years or so.
3 6 Mafia
Wayne
Future
Rakim
No one sounds like Eminem really. I know he hyped up white kids to rap, but they don't sound like him. Hopsin sounds like Em, but that's only person that reminds me of Em, a lil bit.
Everyone says they admire Jay and Pac, but I don't hear Jay or Pac in most rappers.
Everyone at some point sounded like Rakim.
Today most rappers sound like a version of Future.
cole and kdot def influenced by em. You can hear it even in some of kendricks recent dissesYeah I definitely have 3 6 Mafia in my four. When I consider the poll, I'm thinking what most rappers have sounded like over the last 20 years or so.

Definitely right about Kendrick. And when I think about it...Cole actually sounds a lot like Pac. Though earlier Cole had more aggression in his delivery.cole and kdot def influenced by em. You can hear it even in some of kendricks recent disses
Kendrick has Em written all over his stuff. Probably his biggest influence.Nah u can hear a lot of Em influence in the more lyrical artists today at least in their earlier works I don't keep up as much.
Yeah me and a few homies were smoking and counting how many tracks were in rotation on the radio and in big songs on albums that had a 36 sampled beats and/or vocals and it was like up to 25-30 songs and we were still adding to the list. Crazy how far they had come from stamping their own legacy and influencing a whole new gen.Yeah I definitely have 3 6 Mafia in my four. When I consider the poll, I'm thinking what most rappers have sounded like over the last 20 years or so.
