Meh, I'm sure the MK fans will be happy. Just looks like more of the same to me.
NRS games have the coolest and most creative special moves for their characters. I'll give them that. The animations and gameplay in general is still herky jerky. I just can't get past that. I gave MKX a try. I won't make that mistake with XI. MK just isn't my cup of tea, but I can appreciate how much care they put into the game. If only all developers did that.

So basically it's like Call of Duty where you have slots but instead of weapons you have special moves and what not.
Pretty cool. Should make for more interesting fights. That video posted by Geno shows how monotonous those fights can get.
