All the while.....Miz essentially did nothin but appear in an interview with Gunther. Wind up getting a fluke / botch pinfall the following week in a #1 contenders match (which by the way was supposed to be both him and Ivar getting double pins setting up a triple threat, til Ricochet fucked it up) and got a title match which he lost and hasnt done shit since.
Pretending management cant heat someone up in 6 weeks while championing the Miz as "ready" after he already lost is being unserious
