Welcome To aBlackWeb

Monday Night Raw (11/11)

Might as well call it the Renaissance era.

Started with Roman becoming the Tribal Chief

Cody’s return

Sami starts trying to align with the Bloodline

Finn joins Judgment Day, they kick Edge out and start courting Dom

These are your 4 main plots that’s put us where we are today. 3 of those 4 happened all around the same time

Kinda wild that this era starts with stories all started by Vince and was basically grown and bloomed under Hunter

It’s the Renaissance Era. The last few months the phrase “wrestling is back” has been thrown around. It’s been brought up big time last night. Wrestling is indeed back. All the crazyness of it but with wrestlers and stories people actually give a fuck about.

Austin winning KOR and the “Austin 3:16” promo in 1997

Cena beating JBL at Mania to become undisputed champ in 2005

Punk’s “Pipe Bomb” promo in 2011

Roman becoming the Tribal Chief at HIAC 2020

All “era” kickstart or defining moments

CM Punk, Drew McIntyre and Seth Rollins' promo on WWE Raw restored the feeling, as the kids say.

The buzzworthy promo saw each man taking shots at one another repeatedly during the show. It had a much more loose feeling, and if those in WWE are to be believed, it was as scripted as many other we've seen. This would seem obvious in the past, but even some of the most emotional promos that many thought weren't scripted, ended up being scripted word for word. Instead, the claim internally is that there was a general outline, and are told that the talent knew they were all going to just go for it and see what happens.

The promo was listed as one segment, and was produced by Adam Pearce. We're told that WWE production wasn't anticipating CM Punk's line where he cursed, and there was a memo sent to talent recently that discouraged them from swearing on the air.

We haven't heard of any issues backstage after the promos as it relates to heat or anything of that sort, and things have continued to appear well with Punk in WWE.

lol this story been out for like 40 seconds you're a beast

What are we calling this new era? Because last night had to be the official start of that. Before that we were walking the line for sure.

I know we already said reality eta not that long ago, but it’s always been PG era for the longest. I think we finally are done w that. Rock coming back ushered in that new reality era w at home promos, banned bad words and now a full episode of just viscous madness.

If this ain’t the reality era, idk what it is. I’ve seen a few renaissance era posts..maybe.

Reality era ran from 2011-2014 it says. Terrible we used such a good era name for such a lame period of time. I feel like the pg era never died until just recently

Lol This Is Awesome Era...nah mane. Thats just a overused chant
Id honestly say this is more of the Reality Era then when people were saying it years ago. Alot of shit is based on real shit on the outside.

This The Bloodline Era.

If you want to tie what came before and what may come after (ie thunderdome & netflix) then this is The Cinematic Era.

Started with the fun house and boneyard match and has continued on since.

In addition to WWE using real life media outlets to progress storylines and create kayfabe.

This era really is blurring the lines to where people really don't know whats story and whats real

And thats dope!

This why I dislike the "This is a work" comments or people who keep saying this. Who...fuccin...cares.

Instead of worrying about if the illusion is real or not...just enjoy the damn show. Stop tryin to debunk shyt as if you're personally in the creative room wit HHH and his team. Enjoy the product they're puttin out. Be a fuccin fan for once!
