Backstage News

- We’re told that Fanatics and WWE’s integration is being fully felt from the merchandising perspective of things in WWE.

- WWE heavily piped in audio during the Brock Lesnar and Cody Rhodes segment. Several within WWE echoed the online reaction saying it wasn't needed.

- Brock Lesnar was disguised with two other rather large stagehands to get him ringside for the spot. They pushed a trunk ringside to hide him.

- The two World Heavyweight Title tourney triple threat matches were swapped in order just before WWE Raw.

- There were numerous new stars on the WWE roster that were not brought to the show.

- Becky Lynch was cut before she could get on the mic. However, we’re told that it wasn’t supposed to be a substantial part of the promo. Fightful was told this program was continuing for quite a while and there’s plenty of time to get that in.

- Molly Holly produced the Roxanne Perez vs. Emma Main Event taping match

- Kenny Dykstra produced the Akira Tozawa vs Nathan Frazer Main Event taping match

So we got the smack down women’s champion on Raw, and the Raw women’s champion on Smackdown

Brock Lesnar attacking Cody Rhodes AGAIN for no reason

And Smackdown drafting people just to allow them to compete for a Raw exclusive title where if they win, they gotta go to Raw thus wasting a pick

Fantastic writing there. Bravissimo

Clearly the women’s championship drafts were to kill predictability and I absolutely agree w their placement. They can title swap or even get new titles but either way I have no issues with the picks.

Brock has NO reason? Bro got called coward for a few weeks, got busted open and Cody took credit and got pinned in a ‘we didn’t see that coming’ type of way…Brock isn’t the type to chill, we knew he was gunning for Cody. Brock is a vengeful guy. So yes, this makes sense and isn’t for “no reason”.

BuT wHaT aBoUt CoDy SaYinG tHe SaMe tHiNg?!

That’s the point, he’s the victim.

Also, this advances his road for Roman storyline. He’s clearly not winning the WHC title. He’s going to go onto have a great year, possibly winning the MITB (July) or RR and he will beat Lesnar in their 3rd match (I assume will be at SS in Aug)

These are long and slow builds under Triple H. You gotta have the logic and patience to let them build and not worry about the small shit that can easily be overlooked. This is wrestling and you can nitpick almost anything that makes no sense..like Priest getting in the WHC tourney after losing to a non wrestler..but you can overlook that

And yes, a SmackDown guy winning puts him on Raw, so what.

Bro, you do a whole lot of complaining and looking at everything negative like at this point why are you even watching? Sounds like you’re more annoyed than entertained.

WWE can do anything and y'all won't have a problem with it. This is why Vince got away with insulting the audience's intelligence for 2 decades.
Y'all just slop it up regardless if it makes sense or not. If this was a regular tv show with plot holes and logic gaps y'all wouldn't accept it. Want better from your wrestling programs

Shout out to the piped in crowd noise too
