MK Finals: AP VS DU VS Judah

For this theme I can't tell u which one to pick, the judges will give their reasons on why they picked who to win.

Du should've rolled with the song 4:44 instead, that's where he wen't into depth about cheatin on B, him being the reason she was having miscarriages etc. or even smile where he talks about his mom being a lesbian or mad other songs jay has.

AP should'e went with a Budden song, he's the king of introspective songs

With all that said, you'll be hard pressed to find a better song than dear mama

To answer all the if it's introspective or not talk

Suspended from school
And scared to go home, I was a fool
With the big boys breaking all the rules
I shed tears with my baby sister, over the years
We was poorer than the other little kids
And even though we had different daddies, the same drama
When things went wrong we'd blame mama
I reminisce on the stress I caused, it was hell
Huggin' on my mama from a jail cell
And who'd think in elementary, hey
I'd see the penitentiary one day?
And running from the police, that's right
Mama catch me, put a whoopin' to my backside
And even as a crack fiend, mama
You always was a black queen, mama
I finally understand
For a woman it ain't easy trying to raise a man

doesn't get more introspective than that

i didn't pick 4:44 because it was an apology....he was directed at someone else.....i almost went with it, but i looked up the word to double check if the song applied...i felt it didn't....because it was not directed to onself...

kill jay-z was directed at jay-z...

when he said you in the song he was referring to Jay-z
when pac said you in the song he was referring to his momma.......

to me that's a very specific thing...

but to the judges... not so much:smh:

Did Du or AP lose yet?

Kill Jay Z is introspective huh?

Would have went with Momma Loves Me over Kill Jay Z

Go listen to Dear Mama, the song is about him growing up. He is talking about himself.
when he says you are appreciated he's talking about his momma because that's who the song is for

when he says you are appreciated he's talking about his momma because that's who the song is for
Because that's how HE feels.

"I finally understand for a woman it ain't easy tryna raise a man."

He is talking to his mom but also self analyzing.

but he was talking to his mom....te song isn't as introspective because he's talking to someone else..these are not just thoughts reflecting on himself and his wrong actions... he was also giving her props, and talking about her strength and her flaws as swell...he was detailing their relationship....

the song wasn't as purely introspective as kill jay-z...

that's just off the definition of the word....

it's still a great song, honest, and it is very revealing about himself and how his youth was and things he regrets putting her through....

but again.... it's about her more than him...or his impact on her....him wanting to let her know he appreciated her....

i just don't feel it fits the bill here.....but i mean... we can move along, i ain't gonna make a thing about it

Just take ya L big homie.

#2 would have been Hollywood Coles Lost Ones

Y'all still would have lost
naw, i had hella songs to chose from....

i coulda used the conversation since halfyall niggaz don't beleive god exists, X was definitely talking to himself

dear mama is a song dedicated to his mama

maybe "letter to my unborn" would've been a better song
