The actors did some stuff...

Yea they used some old footage,


But they absolutely shot a huge block of original fight scenes

Thats why I said MOST...

It was real noticable in the early years because of the quality and the difference in age of the source material from the US version

Now...you cant tell unless you actually watch the Super Sentai version because everything in HD.

Im not tryin to shit on the actors or nothing...and the MMPR cast (even the new guys, Adam was a beast) were legit martial artists

Now its not as important...

Bruh,

The whole first season of MMPR was mostly reused Super Sentai footage as far as the action/battle scenes. The actors themselves admit this.

The second and third seasons is where they amped up on original footage, you can tell because the costumes look “newer” and the green and white ranger vests look bulkier

I appreciate the fuck outta good fight coregraphy and power rangers shot some great scenes

I think there was one scene where Tommy did something like 15+ round house kicks and he said it was no magic. Just several cameras but he did it in one take

Can't find the video though...I found it before once... I'll keep looking

I wish they still got legit martial artists man...

Like I said you cant tell now unless you know cause everything in hd smh...

Niggas dont got goons they fight before morphing or nothing...just str8 to the uniform

they said it was good enough to warrant a sequel

but i read the other day or some time last week that they are doing some major changes to the sequel or was it a wishlist? i cant remember

I liked the movie as well but....


If the rumor was true that the actors and producer want the green ranger to be a female ima feel some way off the bat.

Only thing that pissed me off was what they did with Goldar i aint like that new look

Goldar was like my favorite villian from Rita along with that fat blue monster who was always fucking up. (Dont ask me why)
