OUT NOW Metaphor: Refantazio

at a certain point you have to be prepared for which weakness to exploit and either have those skills on standbye or items/equipment.
I had to back out climbing this tower to fight some fuckin bird cuz they was fuckin me up. Im going to fight that dragon instead and hope for the best

I'm still on the demo and I feel like I'm playing the whole damn game. Yanked my whole Saturday away from me.

I might not buy the full jam anytime soon because I don't know if I can handle the commitment right now and also I don't think I'm built for the pressure of completing RPG quests on a timer.

Really quick where are you in this? Tell me in a way that doesn’t spoil anything for anybody

I think i'm pretty far into the game almost heading into the home stretch. If I had to guess id think there maybe like 2-3 main story missions left so i'm thinking maybe 10-20+ hours of game left in the story. Hard to tell without spoiling.

You pick it back up yet?

You love this shit

There’s one dungeon where the enemies respawn from those crystals & they drop an item that replenishes 20-30 magic. Good magic items are scarce so I recommend cooking items that’ll give you 100+ magic. Also, the easiest thing to do is use the Magic archetypes (summoner has it too I think) to kill enemies and auto restore MP. Whenever magic would get low I’d switch to one of those, grind, then switch back to my other archetype. It’s a bit grindy, but you can replenish magic w/o items and get xp. Unfortunately the best overall grind spot is literally right before the last boss. I managed to get 4 characters to lvl 99 in that spot and max out the archetypes for the main character.

I see what you mean about the grind right before the end
