Some of the issue is understanding what prostitution is... for some like NY State, may include sexual intercourse, deviate sexual intercourse, and masturbation or certain acts that are suggestive of conduct done to satisfy a sexual desire in People v. Hinzmann. For others like in Cali sexual conduct may include lewd acts where the genitals, buttocks, or female breasts of either the prostitute or the customer come in contact with some part of the body for sexual arousal or gratification of the customer or of the prostitute in California v. Campbell. The NY State view could include passing pics for cash as the pics could fall under suggestive conduct

It really is, I'm still looking through articles for a narrower view, but this is what I found to really figure out the basis and as far as the date, pay, and smash... its the sticking point, because in that article it says websites encourage natural interactions such as dating so that it won't be considered prostitution

Marriage since it's sanction isn't in my view, though there is a bribe to take a daughter off her family's hands in the old days

Any interaction through which a thing of physical value or at the least a favor is exchanged is prostitution, so no tobthe idea of interactions with females is prostitution
 
Ya'll really wasting your time with all this speculating and trying to define what a sugar daddy is and what prostitution is. Who cares? Why does it matter? This chick got caught up trying to get the bag and the crazies came to her spot looking for love and snapped.

Because for some it's a interesting conversation in a cycle that emerges and then goes behind closed doors over and over again throughout history
