Maybe I am. I have already displayed my proficiency in French in this thread a few months ago when a lot of French niggas was in here for some reason... and I definitely have more up my sleeve.
Also: There's nothing wrong with talking with a valley girl accent if you're from Harlem. It's okay for people to shape their lives and personalities beyond what they were born into. I agree... but what bugs me is that these people are saying this dude's speech and content resembles my words I have actually written in this post. And that is just.... beyond the limits of sanity to me. That guy sounds nothing like me. Not in terms of the ideas he's expressing, or the language through which he expresses them.
Too simplistic. What is my tribe? There's easily 4 groups of people I can identify with some more insular than the others. If I choose to be insular and restrict myself to my 'tribe', some folks will still accuse someone of not being willing to integrate.
