What the fuck, Joe?
:tuh:

Let me be more specific: I think it is stupid when we freak out over white people saying the word when singing along to songs.

If we really don't want them to do that, then I believe the responsibility is on us to NOT make songs with that word in every line.... which we then sell to white people, and tell them they're not allowed to sing along to.

It is stupid, unrealistic and irrational.

But apart from that... I actually AM tired of having meltdowns every time a white person says the n-word in general. I am over it. There are worse things happening in the world that that, and it makes us look incredibly fragile and weak when we burst into tears every time someone says nigra. I don't expect many people to agree with me on this, though. It's all good.

I don’t know if that’s what caused the back and forth this time around because the original tweets are deleted but that’s the basis of her disdain for Riley in general.

I’m actually not mad at her being mad at Riley because her using the n word was unnecessary and the black men cheering her on should be ashamed.

However, ever since that incident, known bed wenches in the industry ( like Julie ) who now want to attach themselves to black men because the white men have been passing them over need to stop using that isolated incident to generalize black men especially the ones in the industry.

I dunno if Julie is a "bed wench" (God I hate that term).... I mean, sure she has done lots of IR work; but these girls are in the business of selling their bodies to make money, not to uplift the black nation. There's no money in black-on-black porn. Hell, there's barely any (quality) black-on-black porn left. I ain't mad at nobody for going where the work is.

I don't follow her on social media so I don't have an in-depth view of her general personality but from the glimpses I've seen, she's always seemed vaguely "conscious"... or at least since her weight loss.

Anyway, as far as black men cheering Riley on.... what you expect when you got Wesley Pipes and other cats encouraging her to call them ni&&ers in the middle of scenes? And cats think that shit sexy as hell.... maybe it kinda is, to be honest.

But hey.... she said on No Jumper that she feels entitled to say the n-word because she's had so much negro DNA pumped into her twat, she's gotta be part black by now. I thought that was funny.

If you're talking about "respect," ask yourself if black people respect ourselves by making songs full of that word and then selling it to others.

And no, don't tell me that those records are conversations among ourselves, within our community.... This music is blasted to every corner of the world. Parts of the world where they don't even have black people, they learn about black people from listening to rap music. And the music tells them that this is how we like to be addressed... and then we're gonna get mad at people for the shit that WE put out and perpetuate?

At some point, we gotta take responsibility for this shit. Do I enjoy hearing white people say the n-word? I do not. But as long as WE are promoting that shit in catchy-ass songs that people can't help but sing along to.... I can't get mad at them. It is what it is.

So what should these rappers do who make this type music? Just stop, go back to the trenches, sell drugs and keep killing each other. Black people turn the n word from a hurtful word yelled at slaves to a way of greeting each other.

So-ooooo.... your point is that it is impossible for them to make music without the n-word?? :cont:

...Or that if they were to stop making music, they truly have no alternatives whatsoever in life but to sell drugs and kill each other? :wdf2:

You really have a low opinion of black people, man.

See? This is what I'm talking about. Why should I twist myself into shapes over some dumb teenager saying the n-word while singing along to the new Lil Doo-dooface mixtape when my own people have such low expectations of themselves?

The shit you just said is a REAL problem to me, and something that is TRULY holding us back. Not Lil Doo-dooface fans.
