The activity in this thread continually violates stated rules and, possibly, the terms of services of the website by utilizing bots to repeatedly spam the thread with ads, duplicate posts, and other abuses. It is my understanding that the main forum admin and the moderator for this particular thread have thrown their hands up and largely left the thread to govern itself. This has led to an EXTREMELY poor user experience, racist, sexist, and abusive behavior, potentially dangerous ad links, users disrupting link-sharing by reporting links so they can copy the content and move it behind multiple layers of ads, constant content requests, and solicitation to sell and purchase content.
I am volunteering my services as a moderator. I stated in the thread what my goals would be.
1. Establish the prime directive: every non-mod post in this thread, including begging requests, must contain a working (at the time it's posted), non-ad, non-spam link to a Mega (with a working key, if necessary) or it will be deleted. No, embedded links/images won't count. No, links to Pornhub or other sites won't count. Megas (or similar cloud repositories like Dropbox, PCloud, etc.) or GTFO.
2. Ban ad links - and those who post them.
3. Ban discord invites - and those who post them - because the shit, at this point, is spam and a nonsense pyramid scheme.
4. Establish a rule that extended back and forth discussions between members (even if their posts include Megas) take place in PM. We all don't need to see this shit.
5. Enforce the existing rule that solicitation to sell, discussion of selling, and actual selling must be done in the requests thread or via PM behind closed doors. This thread isn't one long advertisement for your criminal enterprise.
I understand from your perspective that traffic is traffic and as long as the numbers go up and users are active, you're satisfied. However, I believe a better experience is possible. Please consider my request. Thank you.
