Others explained it, but it's when one uses a bypass program or browser extension to avoid the bullshit ad links that some bums use to hide Mega links, and then shares the unhidden Mega link with the group directly, thereby allowing everyone to skip the ads and depriving some poor impoverished soul the pennies he would have received for all the clicks.

FYI, I also use the skipped tag to create a searchable index of skipped content, identify the people doing it, mark the abuses, and to document just how much this bullshit is done.
