Yeah man, we in different times. Im like the biggest Max B fan. But his time to become one of the top dogs in the game and have his run like French Montana did. Drake, Cole, Kendrick, Wiz. That shit passed bro. Everybody from Max B era is now a legacy act ( i dont mean that in a derogatory or degrading way. just trying to say their legends).
When Max B was out, which I remember clearly because I was following this shit and I was in middle school/ HS during all of this. Max B def represented NY streets and he had his own sound that people were fucking with. I honestly believe without a doubt, had Max B beat the case and was able to do his music, He would of been one of the biggest artist in Hip Hop. Dude just had a timeless vibe mix with a timeless sound. People don't even know Max B was a music head and had an insane IQ about music, he not only flipped hiphop records but shit from the 70s and 80s. When Max said he got his own wave and coined that term, he really meant that shit cuz he was focused on his shit and he was doing shit nobody could do, could think of doing and just wasn't being done.
As far as today. I think the best thing is that he doesn't have to do the rest of his life in prison. He was able to come home two years before turning 50+ so he's going out with a bang, as far doing the music shit. He's gonna give people that wavy shit. He's going hard in the last little bit of youth he has left, as he should. Do I expect for Max B to get signed for millions of dollars and go through that industry bullshit, I dont think so. But I think he'll go on a good as run and make some good ass music. I dont expect him to be on a top 100 billboard, but anything is possible. The way hits are made or even happen now a days is so Random. Max B could be on twitch stream making a song with cash cobain and plaxboimax and that shit could go viral, and even turn into a hit. So who knows.
As far as money. He's as good as they come. Max B came home to being a brand that is potentially worth millions. He got a lot of love. He will still sell out shows, venues, walk throughs. He's one of the best personalities in hip hop, and in that regard there's no doubt in my mind he could make content in a content driven society. He's also loved by many, and got some cool friends who will def show love and look out. French is boutta marry the princess of dubai. That's gonna open so many doors for french and anybody with him, on some different shit. My boy really boutta be on that Middle Eastern Prince shit, making billions. You don't think Max not gonna do business out there and get some bread. Honestly Max good, super good. Better than a lot of us, in that regard. The work he put in before he went to prison paid off. There's not many, prolly not any, that can get the love and can take over like the boss don just did coming home after doing like 18 years.
nor will anymore money/stream etc be spent from me on him. Ain't no attaining no welcome home party lol.
