I'm with you 100%... right now isn't the time to get political. But things like this get spun into an ongoing narrative that Black ppl are self destructive without a solution to the otherwise isolated problem of gang violence. This, like other mass shootings, will continue to get politicized with little to no action towards progress. They're not gonna talk about gun control with us, they're gonna talk about giving cops immunity to kill us where we stand.
