Storm returning is still necessary and I believe there's more to Forge and that easter egg with the team on the wall. That episode will still tie in to whoever has been behind all this sentinel shenanigans since episode 1.

I'm not shitting on the original. I need to make that clear but it's very obvious that 40yr old AP can appreciate the attention to detail in the reboot vs 14 yr old AP or however old I was when this originally aired and it felt very much Saturday morning cartoon. Not to say they didn't take chances in terms of the story they wanted to tell but this iteration is just leaps and bounds better
This is also coming from someone who just watched most of the original in anticipation of this one
