I’m sure people have said it but Marvel has the opportunity to have an awkward scene with Wonder Man and Captain America/Falcon

Watched 4-6 last night. The Doorman episode explained the need for that contract mentioned in the beginning and why he's so desperate to hide/contain his powers.

I was all in on ep6, when them two got the parts I was like "HELL YEAH!!", as if I couldn't see that coming, then shot another text to my daughter telling her how much she gotta see this shit. Coincidentally, she was in NYC the last few days for an audition and some filmmaker convention/workshop/some shit. She's headed back home now but is going back to NYC for some PA work next week.

I wasn't ready for the first 10 minutes of ep8.

Sent my daughter yet another text telling her that she needs to watch Iron Man 3, All Hail The King, and Shang Chi in order to understand why the first 10 minutes of ep8 is so dope.

This is probably Marvel's best show aside from Loki. Even then, there's a whole argument for it being better than Loki, but I'm hanging on to Loki as Marvel's best for now.

A whole superhero show than almost never shows the superhero element, yet remains an amazing watch.

Eh, he was skruggling for a decade while big bro was there supporting him, offering job opportunities that simon refused

How many people are actually successful breaking into Hollywood?!?

He had a right to be frustrated

Not feeling your career ain't going nowhere isn't the same as not loving his lil brother

Wow, Marvel showing what they're capable of when they create stories that are character-driven. What a novel concept! No final CGI-infested battle. Got you emotionally invested in the 2 main characters. Wish we could see more of Yahya in the MCU. Department of Damage Control is definitely the beginning of anti-mutant sentiment in the future

Yall got me hype to watch this. Gonna try getting through an episode or 2 tonight if my son can stfu for a bit

Managed to get the first and second episode watched. Still really early but I like it. I love the way this is shot. Destin Daniel Creton is becoming one of marvels go to directors after Shang chi and I fuck with it. He was going to do Kang Dynasty back when that was the plan but ended up doing a majority of the episodes for this and is the director for the upcoming Spiderman movie so im a little more hyped for that one now.

I didnt know this was a "marvel spotlight" series. Hope we still get to see this character in the future

This series was great, but it begs a question for me.

The character in the series was not Wonder Man. The basically made an original character and called him Wonder Man.

Here's the conundrum. Why can't the MCU just make original characters? This story would have worked just as well if the main character was someone who was inspired by the actual Wonder Man. I feel like the only criticisms of this show are that he wasn't really Wonder Man, which are fair. However, if he wasn't meant to be Wonder Man, this show basically doesn't have any flaws.
