They set the bar so high with the whole Infinity Saga that I've doubted they could even match it. Kang could have been it, but ole boy pretty much fucked that all up, so I think they're just kinda making this shit up as they go along, seeing what sticks and what doesn't.

Too many things worked out in their favor to duplicate that run.

Shit, RIP but Chadwick health holding up for those last few movies was miraculous. Him passing before filming that iconic truth in endgame would have been catastrophic

All this came BEFORE Infinity War and Endgame

This was when EVERYBODY started paying attention

The best shit to come before Phase 3 was Ironman, Cap 1 and 2, the first Thor and the Avengers films. But everything in between was not met with alot of praise.

We gotta stop acting like the MCU was hitting high marks with every film from the very start cause thats a lie.

You listed half of phase 1 and 2 as great lol

Phase 2 had Guardians 1 with the 3rd highest grossing film of 2014 too

They weren't hitting on every movie from the start but they had enough to build a following before phase 3

You also missed Guardians 2 in phase 3

It was shot over a very long time bruh. And I'm saying it's miraculous that his health held up the whole time knowing what he was battling.

What happens if his health fails, and he had to stop filming for a few days.... And that turns into weeks... And eventually he just didn't come back while they were still shooting?? Do they go along without him?! Do they use CGI to complete his scenes?? Do they do rewrites.

I'm saying it's a blessing he didn't go down until AFTER they finish everything. His health wasn't on schedule with production.... It just happened that he was able to deal with it while filming.

Marvel caught a huge break with that. Cuz they didn't know at the time. But according to his wife, the family already knew he was sick.

I have yet to se a single ad for this on FB. I saw ads for Thunderbolts, Cap, and Deadpool and Wolverine fuckin daily on FB. Ads for Secret Invasion were often, as was Agatha, but this??? Nary a peep. And Fox did the same shit with New Mutants: ZERO promo on FB and elsewhere. The shit came and went without any fanfare.

The first 3 episodes were good. Now they have to stick the landing.

So far Riri is a pretty unlikable protagonist. I'm looking forward to seeing how she redeems herself.
 
2nd episode was better than the first.

Gotta wonder how RiRi's AI is markedly better than Jarvis, Friday, and Griot with faaaaar fewer resources to be built with.

Having her resorting to crime to get her shit off the ground doesn't sit right with me, especially coming from Coogler.
